Text message program

• Who sends the messages: That's My Good Dawg.
• What you get: event reminders for the Pity Party Back to School Parade.
• How often: up to 2 messages for this event — a confirmation when you sign up, plus one reminder roughly 24 hours before the parade.
• Cost: we don't charge for the messages, but message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or email thatsmygooddawg@gmail.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed on every network or device.
• Consent to receive texts is never required to attend the parade or to use this website.

Eligibility

You must be the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you submit, and 18 or older (or have a parent or guardian's permission).

Event participation

• The parade is organized around well-trained, well-socialized pit bull-type dogs as the featured participants. People without dogs are welcome to walk along or cheer from the sidewalk.
• Handlers are solely responsible for their dog's behavior, leash control, vaccinations, licensing, and any harm or damage their dog causes.
• Organizers may ask any participant or dog to leave the route at any time, for any safety reason.
• Participation is at your own risk. The event may be changed, relocated, or cancelled due to weather, air quality, permits, or safety concerns.

Photos

Photos and video may be taken along the public route and shared on our channels. If you'd prefer not to appear, tell a volunteer marshal or email us and we'll do our best to honor it. [Confirm final photo policy before launch.]
