Walking route

We gather at Alberta Park by the baseball diamond, head up NE 15th Ave, turn onto NE Alberta St for a water stop at The Filling Station, keep walking Alberta to NE 25th Ave, turn left down 25th to NE Ainsworth St, then left again back to the baseball diamond at Alberta Park for grassy social time.

≈2 miles / about 45 minutes walking — flat pavement, sidewalks the whole way

  1. Start: Alberta Park — at the baseball diamond
  2. Up NE 15th Ave
  3. Water stop: The Filling Station on NE Alberta St
  4. Walk NE Alberta St east to NE 25th Ave
  5. Left down NE 25th Ave to NE Ainsworth St
  6. Finish: back at the Alberta Park baseball diamond for social time

Before you bring your dog inside any stop: please verify the store's current pet policy with staff that day. Policies change, and what looks dog-friendly from the sidewalk may not be dog-friendly indoors.

Dog-friendly spots along Alberta worth a sniff break: The Filling Station (pet-friendly patio), Salt & Straw and Barista on Alberta (water bowls out front), Alberta Street Pub's patio, and Pip's Original doughnuts. These are suggestions, not confirmed stops — please confirm each shop's current pet policy before we finalize official stops.

House rules

  • 1Well-trained, well-socialized pit bull-type dogs march in the group; everyone else is welcome to walk alongside or cheer.
  • 2Fixed 4–6 ft leash with a well-fitted harness or martingale. No retractable leashes.
  • 3Give every dog at least 6 feet of space until their person invites you closer.
  • 4Bring water, poop bags and shade. Current vaccinations required.
